More flowers of the coast around Minnie Water and I’m ashamed to say most of these I don’t know and couldn’t find quickly in my Wildflowers of Australia book.
Oh, I would love to take some of my own shots of your wildflowers. The plan is for my mom and me to come for the month of June! Is that too early?

Yes June is too early for wildflowers it’s our mid winter. But where-abouts in Australia are you spending time – it’s a huge place with long distances if you go away from the coastline where most people live. End of July/August is the best time for wildflowers on the east coast of New South Wales (Sydney in the centre of this coastal strip). But there’s so much else to see and do and if you love landscapes/beaches/empty space we’ve got it and lots of it 🙂
We will be spending two weeks in the Melbourne area with Leanne. And then on to Sydney to hang out with some of my friends who live near there! I love the landscapes/beaches/rock formations that I’ve seen taken over there! I’m so excited. Now I’m just working on the logistics of getting over there 🙂

Sounds wonderful, Leanne will certainly know the great places around Melbourne and hanging out with friends near Sydney – well you’ve nearly got the perfect holiday 🙂 with lots of photography thrown in for good measure

Hopefully you’ll be here in late winter early spring when the wildflowers are coming out and can see for yourself and take your own shots 🙂
