We took a walk to Morans Falls one morning, just enough rain to make it interesting and enough fungi to make the walk photographically fun.
Tomorrow I am off to do a Book Workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland – life’s tough I know 🙂 This is either the cover or frontspiece I have created for it. Just a little different to a straight photo (all of which will be inside) for the book I’ll be learning to make using the photos I took up at Lamington NP a week ago. I’m thrilled to be able to create images like this and equally thrilled to be able to use it in a book.
We had some rain this year in the rainforest (had to be expected it is a rain forest after all 🙂 More fungi of various types, some tiny, some large but all looked better with a torch doing the backlighting. By the way these are highly technical terms I’m using for the fungi 😀
This beautiful python really didn’t want to be outside in the cool morning air while we took photos of it. I am frightened of any snake (pythons are non venomous) so it took a bit of courage to get this close and, YES, I managed to get one with his tongue out. It is not cropped !
Firstly – I remembered!!!!!
Decided ahead of time I was going to do a series on the flower heads of my Russian Garlic for this post. There were so many profiles I could do with just two flower heads, enjoy. I’ll be pulling it up over the weekend so I’ll have wonderful aromatic garlic for the rest of the summer.
