Anzac Day in Australia, a public holiday when the nation honours and remembers the Service men and women who fought in all wars to uphold and protect our freedom. It was started to commemorate the First World War (the War to end all Wars) and has continued growing unfortunately to include all Wars. The initials stand for Australian (and) New Zealand Army Corps – ANZAC.
