The Water Wall at the National Gallery of Victoria

The Water Wall at the National Gallery of Victoria

Early in the month of April things passed in a blurr. Recovering from the operation and sorting out putting the house property with a different estate agent. Then it was organising to fly to Melbourne and then onto Fiji.

Stayed with Fran in Ballarat for a few days and as we are both photo nuts,  lots, and lots of photos. Thanks Fran for showing me around and, although the weather was cold and somewhat wet we got to a great many great places. Back to Melbourne staying in a hotel near Flinders Station. I was part of a meetup of people from AWAKE, an on-line photoshop artistry Facebook group I belong to. Although it is a world wide group this meet up was only for the Aussie and NZ members. Fantastic to meet and put faces and personalities to the names plus have wonderful photography excursions organised by the members from Melbourne. We walked our feet off doing the lanes and arcades of Melbourne, the Zoo, Docklands at night, St Kilda pier and the Dandenongs with a photo shoot with models included! Ate and talked far too much. Then the last day an introduction to Print2Metal a producer of photos printed on metal and the process to do that. Quite amazing. Love the look!

Finally flew to Fiji two days ago and now enjoying the warmth of a tropical island.

So a very mixed month. Would love to hear any comments on this post that follows the selling of my property and moving on with my life in a different direction. Come back on the First Friday next month for what I have been doing in Fiji and the rest of the month of May.
