Well! in a week the big baby bird in the big nest has flown, I found out it is a ‘Drongo’ and the willy wagtail babies are not 2 but 3 and now have feathers and seem eager to leave the nest! So much in a week.
I have started a personal project on the creek that runs through town, Obi Obi Creek and the second day discovered not one but two active birds nests in the one tree. How good is that! I would never have seen them except for this project to look closer at something near to me.
This post will find me somewhere over the Middle East, breaking free of the constraints of normal life on a photographic trip with World Photo Adventures
These baby swallows have now broken free and flown the nest just like I am for the next 5 weeks. I hope to be able to post images of our travels as we go around Turkey and then to Morocco. Excited, you bet; nervous, a bit 🙂
I was a bit heavy handed with the effects but thrilled that I remembered how to do the jagged edge.
