I took the liberty of adding the egret from another shot of the tree (it seemed to like to roost there) and played with this shot in PS to keep it light and blue. It was actually a grey sunrise 😦
The hibiscus flower from yesterday’s post ended up being photographed in the small crystal clear shore break in front of my burre. It took me many, many images to get close to what I was trying for but now I’ve studied them more I need to go back and try again 🙂 It might be a few years before I do but I’ve got a better idea of how it will work. Lots of the better shots below to show you what I was trying to get before the hibiscus flower became too damaged. This idea was sparked by a cover image Marie Kova created for the TEDX talks in Fiji this year and one of our group on the Fiji Road Trip – see previous posts.
