One of my granite textures added to give the background a bit of interest. Finally found the lost images I was complaining about last Tuesday and have progressed slightly in my knowledge of Lightroom, thanks to my daughter and son-in-law. Actually I’ve learnt heaps, it’s just a matter of remembering the where of the what.
Played with this a fair bit and added borders but in the end the simpler versions looked best. I took some panned shots of trees one morning this week in a heavy fog and used one of them as a texture over the iris twice. Once with a blend layer of darken and the second time with a blend layer of lighten which gave me the trees in both the dark background and light petals. Using textures and layers is a continuing learning curve but the best help, hints and tips I have been given comes from two other bloggers www.darkpinesphoto.wordpress.com and www.xraypics.wordpress.com – Thank you guys 🙂
