This month Flair and I are spending the twelfth day in Toowoon Bay on the Central Coast of New South Wales (Australia) at one of the many caravan parks that overlook the ocean. Beautiful weather for a couple of relaxing days enjoying the beach. So today’s Take Twelve is all about the beach and ocean. For another Take Twelve, Meg of Move the Chair in the USA gives another view from a different part of the globe.
I had nothing in mind for this month’s Take Twelve, so late afternoon saw Flair and I going for a long walk to see what would show up to make my 12 images. A varied and eclectic collection of natures finest on this April afternoon around the property.
Meg of Move the Chair introduced me to Take Twelve over a year ago, so if you want to see what she took this month hop over to her blog a half a world away.
Trees and then more trees. I set myself a challenge for this ‘Take 12’ (12 photos taken on the 12th. of the month and posted the next day) to try and isolate trees on my property as well as I could to show off the very different characteristics of the different species of trees. To see another Take 12 go to Megs blog Move The Chair but remember she is about 12 hours behind me being in the USA.
Firstly – I remembered!!!!!
Decided ahead of time I was going to do a series on the flower heads of my Russian Garlic for this post. There were so many profiles I could do with just two flower heads, enjoy. I’ll be pulling it up over the weekend so I’ll have wonderful aromatic garlic for the rest of the summer.
A day later than normal, but I like to post my PS Artistry Course every Tuesday (Textured Tuesday) and they clashed 🙂
So here is my Take 12 for Oct. taken at Arrawarra Beach on the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia. I’ve taken the ‘van down there for a few days to check out another of our beautiful beaches. This one’s less than 2 hours from home and yet I’ve never been there before – it is quiet, right on the beach (literally) and beautiful.
